What was once a contained dining and living area is opened outward, extending the home toward the landscape beyond.
Large openings and reconfigured volumes bring light deep into the space, allowing the lake and mountains to become a constant backdrop. The result is an addition that feels inseparable from the original home.
The final outcome is a seamless extension of the home, shaped by place, light, and daily life.
For MAVIS, the project became an exploration of how an addition can expand a home’s capacity while remaining grounded in its original character.
